SOCIAL: Stetson x Lord Collaboration Event
To say Mondays are the day of the week that we all dread is an understatement. Fortunately, we were elated when we were invited to celebrate Stetson's design collaboration with tattoo artist Josh Lord of East Side Ink. Located at every Urban King's favorite Lower East Side bar, Rochelle's, we were taken downstairs to a dimly lit room with strong Stetson Bourbon cocktails and DJ Mandy Jiroux cracking out the tunes. Co-Creative Director Brett David greeted and chatted up each and every guest, something we've never seen before, much less in New York City!
Our favorite part of the event was the LIVE tattoos on site provided by East Side Ink & Inked Magazine! While we weren't as adventurous, we spotted Liz Black, noted Refinery 29 writer, and Fame and Partners designer getting matching ampersands with her husband. Later on we spoke with esteemed men's blogger Anthony Urbano (www.closetfreaks.com) who was getting a Filipino flag tattoo, symbolizing his heritage at the stroke of midnight.
At the end of the night, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we received a limited edition tattoo-inspired Stenson hat!
