NYFW A/W2015: Epson "Digital Couture" Event

Kicking off our New York Fashion Week festivities was the Epson "Digital Couture" event, one of the first true collaborations between a huge modern technology company and fashion. Epson featured 11 designers from both North and South America. As we walked through the projectory on both sides, we saw that Epson had a space where they showed their Surecolor F Series, the latest cutting edge fabric printing and design technology, which resulted in a t-shirt for every guest. This modern technology is something Epson is proud and excited to display, said Agustin Chacon, VP of Operations. "Epson’s dye sublimation printing technology provides another level of creativity and functionality for young fashion entrepreneurs and well established fashion brands looking to produce their art in a more efficient and affordable manner,” Chacon said.

For our #UrbanKing there was menswear filled with vibrant prints from "Ay Not Dead" designer Noel Romero from Argentina. With their male models striking a pose in front of every camera, they definitely managed to set themselves apart from their competition. Our favorite women's line was Pilar Briceño of Colombia; her vibrant prints and exquisite taste left us wanting to see a full collection. We managed to spend the night right by ANTM model turned serious actress Analeigh Tipton, who was praising the wide variety of collections while modeling her new pixie-esque haircut that fans were just raving about.

Guests were treated to music by the Misshaps, drinks by our favorite, Patron, and taken care of by the alway hospitable PR group of Seventh House PR.
