IN CROWD: Kiehl's NYC Pride Party

NYC Pride was bustling this year and Kiehl's Since 1851 celebrated with a party at their flagship store, honoring The Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI), an organization devoted to a safe and supportive enviornment for LGBTQ youth. Hosted by R&B singer Mya, her and DJ Gustavo created a Pride kick-off that we will never forget. Walking in as soon as the party started was design duo Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra of Costello Tagliapietra, with their signature plaid button downs and matching suspenders - #chessclubpresident to the max. The duo was popular among the fellow guests, as if they were old friends.

Making our way to the back of the party, Kiehl's celebrated Pride in style with rainbow cupcakes and cake that tasted just as delicious it looked! Directly next to us, we saw everybody's favorite meth-head - on TV anyway - Orange Is The New Black’s Emma Myles (Leanne). Myles was dressed in a simple yet chic outfit, with a white top, black skirt, and a yellow blazer for a pop of color for the summer. Following her to the bar, we briefly chatted about her drink of choice for the night - champagne of course!

Keihl's president Chris Salgardo, along with Mya, presented a $5,000 donation to Thomas Krever, CEO of HMI. Keihl's has been an official sponsor for Gay Pride for six years now, and has participated in the parade for 14, which you can hashtag using #KiehlsPride. In attendence celebrating Pride were models RJ King and Eric Rutherford, who were both fun and playful on the red carpet. The night was an amazing way to kick off Pride in style, with the skincare line that never goes out of style.
