LAST CALL: Red Lion Tavern
Willkomenn! This week we are looking for own personal BeerFest and we found it (and all the beer guzzling hipsters we could ask for) at Red Lion Tavern in Silverlake. This old school German bar boasts being the oldest German bar and restaurant still in operation in Los Angeles. They definitely keep their ties to the Old Country with a cozy front room and lounge that opens up to an upper level and beer garden. With a huge assortment of German made draft and bottled beers, you can’t go wrong. Show off your chugging skills and nab that bearded hipster. Just be careful, in the morning, your beer goggles might not be so friendly.
