LAST CALL: Good Time's At Davey Waynes
Are you ready for a time warp? This Friday, probably Saturday as well, we are headed to Good Times at Davey Wayne’s in Hollywood, CA for a 70s throwback to find our #EdgarAllanFaux. Get ready to time travel back to one of the best decades with this amazing dive bar.
Good Times at Davey Wayne’s may appear unassuming to the untrained eye, but don’t be fooled by the Garage Sale with incredible vintage finds. Walk through the refridgerator door, yes a real old-school refridgerator, and you’re transported to a 70s house, complete with wood-paneled walls, that has been converted into our favorite hot spot. You’ll find a fireplace, a stage for live music, and a DJ booth all in the first room. Meander through the hallway to get a glimpse of the main bar complete with a few arcade games. But the magic doesn’t stop there; we spend most of our time at the outdoor patio with a wood deck, astro-turf lawn, hammocks and a second bar that boasts alcoholic snow-cones. Skip dinner and feel free to grab a bite of So-Cal favorites by the BBQ pit.
I’m telling you, this is every hipsters dream come true. You’ll find your #EdgarAllanFaux breaking it down to the oldies, snuggling in a hammock, or watching the Roller Skaters do their thing on top of a plexiglass roof.
